This webinar covers an overview of common farm animal species, such as pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, fowl, alpaca and llamas, ostriches and emus. We will discuss appropriate and acceptable care and husbandry practices. We will also provide guidelines on safe handling and briefly cover potential zoonotic diseases. Examples of what would constitute neglect or cruelty, when a veterinarian needs to be summoned and when immediate seizure is appropriate will be included.
