Recognizing and Understanding Bias for the Animal Welfare Professional

Every day we make decisions without thinking about them. Most of them are minor and not memorable, but others could have far greater consequences than we realize. Our lived experiences, as well as what we learn from mentors, friends, and families can all affect the decisions we make without us even realizing it. Join us to learn about what exactly bias is, as well as if it is possible to identify our biases and change them! (sneak peek – YES we can make changes that decrease our bias). This session is sure to be an eye-opener and thought provoker!
