We know that advertising works. During the recent California Adopt-a-Pet Day, positive, paid advertising reached a new audience and first-time adopters made up an incredible 46% of people who brought home a new pet that day. Advertising reaches new audiences and helps the public understand that we have the pets they are looking for. Shelters have the best variety and selection of animals with friendly staff and volunteers ready to help them find the best match. It’s also the best deal around as pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped!
Your support of this effort helps pets in California shelters now and will ultimately help pets nationwide, as this campaign was developed to be replicated in other states.
