Pets are Big Business: Puppy Sales, Scams, and Prosecution

Illegal puppy sales and scams are common in many communities. We will examine some common animal-related scams and how to develop the cases and present them to prosecutors, through charging, so the cases will be accepted for prosecution. Speaker Madeline Bernstein has decades of experience in animal welfare, is a former prosecutor herself, and is the president of spcaLA, an organization with a robust humane law enforcement program.
