Search Warrant Basics for Animal Control Professionals

Deputy District Attorney Monica Robinson will take us through a stepwise overview of how to write, obtain and execute search warrants. The class will cover when you need a search warrant, the ACO’s role, working with your local DA and law enforcement, timing requirements, and the chain of evidence. She will also describe common mistakes and touch on civil liability for ACOs.
