With more than 20 years of experience in animal welfare leadership, Mary Martin has led major municipal and nonprofit animal care organizations across the country. Mary is recognized for improving shelter outcomes, increasing pet adoptions, and building strong community partnerships. She began her role with Riverside County in March 2025 and is focused on advancing programs that support pets, families, and the community.
